Hertfordshire, often abbreviated to Herts, is one of the Home Counties. Hertfordshire is located north of London, with train links into the heart of the nations capital.
Important roads pass through the county, including the M25, M1 and the M10.
There is only one city in Hertfordshire, namely St Albans. There are a variety of market and industrial towns - For jobs in Hertfordshire, there is Broxbourne, Hertsmere and Watford in the south, with Stevenage further north. North Hertfordshire is more agricultural. Hertfordshire is best known for the financial and pharmaceutical industries.
